I'm not a breeder, so when I got my Cali (who was being very successfully shown but the breeder thought she might end up being too small to breed) gave me copies of all the tests that had been run on this pup was was astounded. I bought a proven show quality dog and paid formthat, but frankly the cost of the tests the training and showing I seriously believe they made any money on her.
Of course, she is perfect for me, but was an expensive deal for the breeder - and indeed Cali did not "make weight" as the breeder/show person had suspected, which to her was 5 pounds.
Real eye opener for me - but boy do I have a healthy dog with a great disposition and confirmation - of course her show dog mama is aghast at the squirrel chasing thing
