My Luci has a constant high BUN Level (40) on her Blood Work.
All other Kidney values are normal, no protein in her urine, all urine tests have been. All other values (non kidney) of her blood work are also normal.

She is having her Dental on Monday, Vet will start her on IV Fluids for 1 hour prior to dental and keep her on fluids until I pick her up.

The only thing we can think is she is not drinking enough water. I do see her drinking water, but maybe she needs more?? I also know stress can cause this as well.

I have had two other Yorkies previously that had kidney failure and nothing with Luci suggests this is happening. So, I am very familiar with kidney issues.

Any thoughts or any one else have this issue?
