Default dog

Galen is beautiful but I would not hurt him by trying to pull out those mats. When they are too bad I cut them out. His fur will grow back and he will be fine. I trim my boys back when it is hot anyway. Those mats hurt bad when one pulls on them or trys to release the tangle. If there is a conditioner that would get them out I would try that but if all else fails and it hurts him, cut them. Remember how we used to tease our hair up by ratting it? It would hurt like the dickens to get those rats out. Poor Galen, same pain. I hope you get this problem solved soon. He is such a neat dog!
