Yes, and it's an attempt to be dominant. I try to discourage it, because their teeth are very sharp and I know one day she'll succeed at chewing through the leash. Also I feel it's very dangerous, bc if I ever need to pull the leash quickly, it being in her mouth could most likely break her neck!
