What did dogs eat before commercial dog food came about? I'm pretty sure they didn't eat grain and corn. We have the big Canadian Wolves around here and I guarantee you they are not raiding the farmers grain fields, they are killing big game, sheep, cows, etc. Dogs and cats are both carnivores, not omnivores or herbivores. There is a reason they have no flat teeth like humans, they are strictly meateaters.
I don't want to argue, just stating some well know facts I learned in science. | I am not saying I am a fan of grains but our yorkies are VERY far from wolves you don't really see many yorkies running in the wild. Wolves don't start up a camp fire before they eat either so you must be feeding raw if your going by wolves in the wild.
