Default Help!

Hi! I'm new to this site, but I have a question about my little guy "Teddy". He is a 7 lb. Yorkie, 3 yrs. old.... When I say the word "walk" he gets soooo excited, runs to his car carrier and can't wait to go, but when we start on our walk, he won't budge! I have to drag him if I try to walk! I end up carrying him for awhile, and then finally he'll start walking after I've walked for some time. What's going on? It's not that he's tired because he does this at the start. Any thoughts from experienced yorkie owners? I feel like the dog whisperer would tell me my dog has me trained! Would appreciate your thoughts!
