I also started just using rain water exclusively. Even though I have a filter on my tap water, it still causes problems. Seems like after it rains, it's like the plants have drank a Red Bull or something!
I get mine from a place in California! Mountain Crest Gardens... love them! Most places here don't carry many varieties at all... and it's such a waste to drive around in search of. |
That's my prob - they get all LEGGY and I hate that look. I want them to stay short/squat/low. So perhaps I should try keeping closer to a window, right?

I can't find good variety here either, not at all. You've re-inspired me - so I'm going to order some either from the place you mention or from Simply Succulents (ebay is another good place).
