Walks are a great thing, especially if you work all day and your baby is home alone. If also you get in the habit of walking, she will know what is coming when you get home.
I do believe (gracielove maybe you can back me on this) dogs are creatures of habit and schedules) If you do the same routine with her, she will start to learn it. It won’t take long for her either.
Peanut knows our weekday routine as well as our weekend routines, as I know his. Both of you have to work as a team.. Like I said you will get there, it just takes time. |
Oh, yes, I agree about a schedule. They are very much creatures of habit. Following a routine helps them to learn faster and stick to it once they understand.
Exercise also gets the body systems working so the bowels and kidneys will fully empty when given the chance. The morning walk is really important for getting things out so they won't have to go again real soon. A walk later in the day will help clean things out for the evening. Of course, the age of the pet always has to be taken into consideration.
