Default Potty training

Hello, I just got my yorkie for my birthday. She is 7 months old to our knowledge. In the past two weeks she has been to three homes. So I understand that she is a little stressed and confused. Now I'm not sure how the past owners have treated her and what they have trained her. Now when my parents had her at their house they would take her out with our other dogs which are beagles and she would go potty. Then when they surprised me with her I would take her out with the other dogs and she would be fine then one morning I took her out and she wouldn't go to the bathroom. Well the next morning she went out and peed then I brought her to where I live which is alone in an apartment complex. I understand she can be confused on where she is living well I take her out often and she doesn't go potty at all then when I put her in the crate when I leave for work I come home and she was fine nothing in the crate. The next morning we wake up I feed her then take her out and she goes in the crate then I leave for work I came home and she pooped in their crate. Then the next morning i took her out she went poop outside then i left to go to the store and she was in the cage for not even 2 hours and she poops in the cage. Now I have read this happened for other people and its because the cage is too big. But I don't know if that's the only reason. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I have considered changing the time I feed her to night time instead of the morning. Would that be a good idea to do or not? Someone please help me.
