Pebbles is holding right now, the albumin is slowly creeping up(2.1) after 7 months. She is on a homemade diet , I consulted with an organization called Balance It out of California. I make the food and use their supplements. My vet suggested them. The reason I need to shake this up a bit, is her skin is flaking badly and hair falling out, probably due either to disease or combination of meds, prednisone and atopica. You might want to have Dr. Chris Jones at GCVS see her! He is Cookie's internal med specialist. Then, you could see Dr. Lenox at the same time. Usually you need a referral I believe...but ask her and she can advise you.
Dr. Jones has a special interest in these GI things and he is an awesome vet. You would need a referral to see him as well. I cannot say enough good about GCVS! Cookie really has not seen him for a while because I take her to my vet for her blood work and it is then sent to Dr. Jones.
