Hello Suzy Q 48. I also live in Indianapolis. I got my newest "baby" (Kody)from Goldenray Yorkies in Dayton, Ohio. Cher was awesome about answering all kinds of questions and also has a very informative website. Kody was ~5 months old when I got him. I feed him 2x day. As far as housetraining, I am also not an expert. However, I agree with deb4air in that consistency is the key. Dogs do well with a routine. In addition to the YT forum, there are lots of local resources in Indy that might be helpful, i.e., indyhumane.org has lots of good info on housetraining, crate training, etc. Best wishes to you and your "baby". |
