That's good advice from ChibiLuv...

But remember, once one of our guys attaches to someone, it' s a forever thing. However, if you get your DH to start giving out Treats, putting food/water down for her... Just getting him more involved in things she likes to do, will modify her "protective" instinct toward you. That also means that YOU also have to back off some, less petting, and other close contact, leaving some of those things for your DH.

This won't be fast or absolute.
