We used pennies first with Callie and now she is terrified of loud noises. So we used the squirt bottle and it worked great. She has never been a fan of the rain but if she has to go potty she will go but all the dogs I grew up with where like that too. She is not afraid of water or anything like that she is fine with baths and stuff. My mom also used the water bottle when her rescue wanted to hump her dogs and it worked and he still loves his baths.
