Oh wow, what a great thread...but I've gotten soooo much great advice here, I feel I can't pick/choose!
-Don't overvaccinate
-Don't use collar/leash combo with yorkies
-Uses for pumpkin, karo, benadryl, syringes
-Stocking my Emergency doggy kit
-Motivating me to take Dog CPR/First Aid
And more general advice:
-Go with your gut, you KNOW when something is wrong w/ your kiddo, even if/when your vet can't find it; KEEP LOOKING
-When a generalist can't find what's wrong, go to a specialist, don't keep floundering around
