The situation is so unfortunate....this may never develop into anything worse at all, but it could end up breaking your heart. Instead of enjoying your little girl, you are going to be walking on egg shells, waiting for the other boot to drop...... If this lady would have only been honest with you from the very beginning, all of this may be a moot point. I know NOTHING about the other breeds that are in Zoeys make up.....I know NOTHING about the vulva issue....someone else covered that issue and it does not sound promising....as much as it is going to hurt you to part with Zoey, I think in your same position, I may let her go back to the breeder. And I would then take my refund and find me a reputable breeder. I try to live by my motto, "If it hurts, dont do it".....I think it is too painful to KNOWINGLY assume care of a potentially ill puppy, that I would fall in love with and then suffer heartbreak as I watched that baby die. THAT is why I have such a HUGE respect and appreciation for these people that rescue these babies....I just could not continue to loose pup after pup and continue on.....I am not up to that....You have to figure out how much you are up to, both financially and emotionally....that will help you decide what is best for you. |
