My puppy, Willie, is 7 months old. We are having a very hard time training him. We take him out 4-6 times per day, and he pee pees. He poops on the pad we keep in his pen. When he has to go outside he walks to the door and looks out. The problem is that we don't know if we don't see him at the door. If we don't acknowledge him, he pee pees on the floor either near the door or next to his pee pee pad 70% of the time. The other times he goes on the pad. He seems to understand where he is supposed to go because when he goes on the floor, he runs behind the couch and watches us clean it. We are trying very hard to train him, but it is so difficult. Does anyone have any ideas on how to help? Also, does anybody know about how long it should take to train him? Thank you
