I just bought Embrace for my two young boys. After the weird things I've experienced over the last 13 years with my older dogs, I know that even with preexistings I'll get my money's worth. I don't ever think insurance is a "waste of money" as some have said, but I think you need to be strategic and pick a policy that will work for you and which makes sense. For me, a small policy with a high deductible and low monthly premium works best. I save money as I can, but I sure would rather use it for my own enjoyment rather than drain it over and over again on unexpected or costly dog bills.
