Congrats on Navi. I agree that the previous owners have chosen well for her new home, even though they went about it the wrong way. I would think that if they had "scoped you out" and decided you were the best choice, why didn't they just knock on your door and ask? The way they did it, they could not be sure you would keep her. At least if they asked first, they could have been sure you would (or would not) keep her.
Maybe they didn't so much as choose you as they chose your fence, since you said it is so tight. Maybe they just wanted to make sure she was safe?
It does sound like they were very concerned that she be in a good place and not just taken to the pound or let loose on the streets like so many, which I'm sure would have been easier, if they didn't care. I'm glad it worked out well & that you have a new wonderful addition to the pack! |
