I have looked into getting meds over the internet but ya never know what your going to get..it's all about your personal preference. Also, many mail order companies charge shipping unless you purchase a large amount. Some have free shipping on orders over $50 and others are even higher than that. I put that into consideration when purchasings meds from my vet.

I get the generic Heartguard Plus called Iverhart Max from my vet. It costs me $20 for 6 months. Also just for added information, Walmart is now carrying many pet prescriptions, including heartworm meds, both name brands and generic!
