Some people probably think I am snubbing them because when I have the boys out, I'm usually preoccupied and in my own little world, or the other Yorkie person takes me by surprise -- racing their cars up to us to show their doggies, lol. I'm not always up to being social.
On one of our trips to the grocery store, dad stayed in the car with the boys while I shopped. I had barely gotten back in the car when a man holding a Yorkie knocked on my window. I was exhausted after working, the park and shopping, and wasn't feeling very social, despite how cute his doggy was. I was nice, but I got the feeling he was disappointed that we didn't want to stay and talk about everything Yorkie.
Maybe when you encounter these people, it isn't always about the dogs.
