My yorkie is a cottony coated, stubby legged (not sure about short muzzled) girl and she is 18 lbs. with floppy ears. Everyone asks me what kind of dog she is. Very few people I have ever met in the 10 years I have had her have recognized her as a yorkie. I don't recall anyone ever snubbing her because she doesn't look like a normal yorkie but if they did I would just smile and walk away because I love everything about her just the way she is and wouldn't change a thing about her even if I could. I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world. I'm sorry that people act this way. There is something wrong with them.
