We bought our house as a new build. My dh and I have both seen a shadowdy figure at the end of the hall many times, at the same time. Huey has never alerted to this and I can't recall seeing it in several years (really not since Homer died) but our old lab mutt Homer dog would alert at the same time we would sse it. The only thing I can think of is we live next to the Chickamauga Battlefield. Maybe someone had a dog like mine and wanted to hang out with him, and when Homer died, maybe he was satisfied that wasn't his dog or maybe Homer went to keep him company. Who knows. I believe there are things that happen that are inexplicable. |
