This is so interesting! I totally believe in ghosts but have never had anything of significance happen to me. My sister told me she felt a "hand" brush up against hers when she was half asleep in what used to be my grandparents' room of my dad's house. I always felt strangely cold in that room. Other than that nothing else.
Why don't you ask if a psychic can come to the house?
