Wow!!! This way worked perfectly...I started the dart one inch wide at the neck and tapered down to the chest. I then started the second dart 2 inches wide at the bottom and tapered it right up to the first dart. I have only stitched it by hand so far and am going to try to overcast the stitching line and cut away the excess fabric but so far, it looks exactly as it should. It is a little smaller in the neck and much smaller at the bottom end...Thank you thank you thank you!
