Default Help I'm stumped with this onesie

Hi Everyone: I am working on a onesie for a friend with a Brussles Griffon who is a special needs dog. She is very tiny and has to wear clothing all the time. She requested me to make her a onesie with the belly a little shorter than the back and to narrow the back as she is very skinny there. She does, however have an 11" chest, and only a 4 inch neck. As you can see from the pics, I have cut a circle from the belly and cut it down the center to take it in...My problem is...how do I take this thing in so that I can get it to fit her neck, chest and then make the back a little smaller? I was thinking perhaps take the neck in and taper towards the bottom of the belly line, then try to take in the side seams for the back? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
