Also what's stopping your paid advertisers from posting their own raving reviews? On Yelp they have a "complicated math algorithm" that filters out "fake" reviews, and that often does NOT work. How will you deal with this issue? Alternately, how will you deal with those trying to "out" bad breeders without actually having done business with them? |
We DO have reviews on the site. Most, if not all, breeder directories don't. Google doesn't have a breeder directory. Yes, it is tricky to implement and is still work in progress. Currently each registered user (including breeders) can only post one review per breeder. Breeders are not allowed to post reviews of themselves. We will be installing additional filters in the future, depending on need and demand, and if it becomes an issue. Breeders will be allowed to post a single rebuttal to every review, to eliminate a bad-mouthing and bashing by competing breeders. At the beginning we will carefully monitor and moderate the reviews, to make sure they are not abused (similar to the way posts are moderated on this forum). Thanks for an intelligent question !
