Which is why I said
usually. A murmur in and of it's self is not a problem. It's the underlying cause of the murmur that can be. That cause can run the gamut from completely benign to life limiting. Until more is known about this particular pup, it doesn't make sense to jump to the most tragic conclusion.
I am very sorry your story didn't have a happy ending and I appreciate you letting others know that they need to further investigate things.
