I don't think so. They also get commission from the merchants that sell through them. Does this automatically make Amazon a team of scam artists ? Can you honestly say that you have never purchased from Amazon ?

Be careful making quick judgements, after spending 2 minutes on site. One difference Vadzilla.com has over other similar sites is that we have breeder reviews. So if you really feel strongly about a certain breeder (the one that you wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole, for example) and would like to warn others - PLEASE, REGISTER WITH US AND POST A REVIEW! That would do way more service to the community than simple bashing of a service provider.

The main reason why I am posting at this site is so that people like OP are aware of the tools available to them, and ultimately post reviews for breeders they find. Hopefully with time, enough review data will be accumulated, that it will be much easier for potential buyers to simply go to our site and make a quick and easy call on each breeder, instead of going through endless sources searching for recommendations. And we do have some specific pointers in our FAQ on how to interview a breeder, with a more information coming in the near months. Our site is still very new.

Finally, I never claimed that Vadzilla is a Yorkie-specific site. I dont see why it automatically makes it a scam site, as you portrait it. It is likely we will feature the breed in our blog at some near future, but if you are only looking at sites that have helpful articles on Yorkies, you might want to look elsewhere.

What makes it a scam site is that you will allow anyone who pays the fee to advertise with you. No screening, no background checks, nothing. As long as their payment clears, they are good to go.

No different than puppyfind or the local classifieds. Puppyfind allows breeder reviews, too. Nothing new to see here, folks.
