I have never had anyone correct Luma because she is pretty well behaved, but goodness, the dogs at the dog park are just sooo BAD lol. I don't want to be that person who yells at a stranger's dog but many, many times I have had to tell a dog "down" as in get the heck off of me. There is a little swimming pond in the small dog section AMD I come fully prepared to get a little dirty or wet but I've had dogs trample me if I sit on the tree stumps that people sit on, or be all over my legs when I sit on benches. I know dogs will be dogs but in general, most of those dogs are clearly never disciplined and have no.manners.
I would be okay if someone told Luma "down" or "no" as long as they did not physically shove or hit her. |
