Curious to see what she thinks when we go back in 4 weeks. And if she will be on something for life. I would be interested in the eye wash pads if there is nothing in them. Right now I have to do warm/cool compresses to her eyes so it would be nice to find something sterile. I have been using washcloths but I personally would like something disposable one time use. Mainly to keep any bacteria away from the eye. And I don't want to add any other solutions to her eyes. I am going to stick to what the Dr. recommends at this point. But if they are solution free or if you have any ideas for sterile compresses I will look into them!
You may want to check them out, but run them also by your Ophth. My Ophth (for me) recommends them really highly for those w/ blepharitis - they do have some ingredients, but they're specifically for eye and irritations and are an adjunct to the compresses. They're really soothing. I'm sure your vet ophth has heard of them. You can get them at Walgreens, CVS etc -- there is a brand name one and there is also generic. You'd find them by all the eye ointments, eye drops, saline solutions etcetera.
