Lambeau has always shown a 'keen' interest in the cars flying by our house while we are out on our leashed walks. We live in the country and have a huge yard, but right off a well traveled state highway. He did a 'houdini' and slipped out the front door as some friends were pulling out the drive and the race was on!! I did not know I could run that fast!!I did not know he could run that fast!! He was NOT responding to 'Lambeau, here, TREAT!' or any other inticement. He actually ran out onto the highway where my hubby had positioned himself to head him off @ the pass. We FINALLY got him herded back towards the house and once we got him inside, I didn't know whether to cry in relief or beat him!! We were SO scared of what could have happened. We are extra vigilant around the doors now, and have been working extra hard on, 'Lambeau, STAY'. Seriously started looking at fencing options after this incident. I imagine its happened to all of us at one time or another. Still makes me shudder just remembering
