1. How many of you cut your own Yorkie's nails?
i've just started doing it myself.
2. How do you do it?
i have him on his stomach for his hind legs, on his back for his front legs.
3. How do you keep your Yorkie still!!??
i give him a flossie to eat while i do it. he concentrates so much on the flossie, he barely notices the clippers.
4. What kind of nail clippers/scissors do you use?
whatever's at the pet store grooming section.
5. How often do you cut them?
i'm trying to do just a little bit per week. the quick is suppose to regress more into the paw if to keep the nails trim. it can also extend further out of the nail if the nail is left along all the time. it's best to do a little bit often just to get him used to the routine. |
