Thank you for your responses. The vet didn't give me any research info. We spoke on the phone yesterday when I called for the results. They are trying to figure out exactly what the problem is, so I don't know that there's anything specific I can research yet. I have searched the internet for "blood disorders, clotting disorders, liver disorders" and don't come up with anything useful. Liver shunts come up, but she doesn't exhibit any of the symptoms associated with that. He put her on a vitamin K supplement to help with the clotting factor. He is going to do a blood chemistry and bile acid test tomorrow and mentioned possibly doing an ultrasound to evaluate liver function. The effect is her blood not clotting, now we need to find out what the cause is.
