Sometimes Ruger slips out the door and roams around a bit. He's always stayed close to home and has been relatively easy to get using a treat or two. We live on a quiet street and he has never chased a car or truck until now. The last couple of days he has either chased every car that gone by, or tried to as he's almost always leashed. And, as most of you know, Yorkies are really fast, especially big ones like Ruger.
What do I do? Yes, I always keep him on a leash or tied up outside, and I never leave him outside, even tied up, without me. But, sometimes he just gets underfoot and slips out the door. Help!
