Fish in native US waters may be okay, as freshwater river fish, as they are processed on land. So it depends on the type of fish used in the pet food. I still have doubts though.

Seems fish meal has the potential to ignite, and has caused a few ships to sink.
I use to Commercial fish. Before they never processed the fish on the boat. They were docked delivered processed then flown out. Dunno about now? Usually the Asian commercial shipped were the only ones that processed at Sea.
