All ocean-caught fish is treated with Ethoxyquin (can't find the link, but it is a US law)
China is the 2nd leading producer of fish meal...
I just checked the ingredient list on two Solid Gold foods... both contain Ocean Fish meal. I have 4 dogs... none would even venture to taste Solid Gold foods... I find this shocking as they are piggies.
Just questioning this guy's list... |
Coast Guard law. If fish meal is shipped by water it must be treated. If its shipped by land it doesn't. So pretty much if the dog food company is buying fish meal from North America it doesn't need to be treated. From China or overseas it does. So if a Usa made food buys overseas fish meal then its treated. But can still be made in USA

I try to know what I feed.
