Oh this makes me so upset. I can't stand people like that. Lack of compassion for a living breathing creature just really gets on my nerves.

It is so sad that the yorkie died from something so easily prevented. I do hope the woman is charged.

I hate that pets are considered property only. I would love to see that law change. These days pets are family to many of us and we are devastated when something happens to them. You can replace any piece of property and make it an exact duplicate but you can't ever do that with a pet as they are living breathing unique individuals and you will never get that back.

I've never understood this. I see it all the time and I can't tell you how many times I've been tempted to just take the dog. Literally no interaction with the dog besides giving it some food and water. Really what is the point? Why have a dog you are just going to chain up outside and never do anything with it? Go get a life sized stuffed animal, less mess to clean up and you don't even have to feed them.
