It's not a grain-free food. So if your pup has grain allergies it probably isn't the best food for your pup. There's a lot of controversy about ingredients such as corn meal & wheat...both of which are in RC. This is probably the "issues" dinolover is referring to. However, many many dogs do extremely well on RC. Each dog is different.
