That is such a sweet story! I just think some dogs just know when someone needs a little love and attention. Teeka is a social butterfly. She will go to almost anybody. My parents are in the early 80's and she just loves my Dad. He is a grumpy old man but Teeka brings out the best in him. She always runs to him and jumps onto his lap. I don't understand the connection and why he makes an effort to cuddle her but it is pretty sweet. I even have a picture at Christmas time, with her laying on his shoulder sleeping. She was only 5 months and she already enjoyed his company! She could be a service dog as she also loves children.
