It takes a while for kennel cough to completely go away. In fact, it can take a few months. Don't worry. The antibiotics are helping. It just takes some time for their little bodies to get rid of anything respiratory related. If it makes you feel better, you could give your vet a call to have her retested to see if her counts are lower. At least then, you'll know you're on the right track. I had a rescue with kennel cough that developed to pneumonia. It might be good to schedule a follow up appoinment if you're really concerned. If one of my babies has an infection that they can't kick, I request an antibiotic injection that lasts for 2 weeks. I'd have to look up the name of the medication. But if you ask your vet, I'm sure he'll know. Good luck!!
