How horrible for those puppies, and they will probably end up with someone who hasn't a clue what it all means, or they'll become ill and their owner won't know why.

I don't know much, but 1 test I recommend especially for Yorkies is bile acid testing. It tests the function and performance of their liver. Enzyme testing is usually recommended, but all that shows is damage or inflammation (when there's already something wrong with them). Bile acid testing is a good "foretelling" rather than after the fact.
