Oh yes, I know EXACTLY what you mean.....
My mother's in her mid 80's.....Harry's an energetic, cuddle-me-when-I-say, bit-of-a-lad, ball of fun.....
And yet around my mother he's like a different dog.
He sidles up to her, reverses inbetween her legs when she's sitting down, gazes backwards looking longingly into her eyes, touches her gently with a paw, kisses every single one of her fingers (that might have something to do with his love for diamonds
) and generally doesn't act Harry-fied one single bit!!!
And I totally love him for it (and so does she....
