I agree about the price of Trifexis and the hoops you have to jump through for rebates.

I used it when Sentinel wasn't available, but as soon as Sentinel came back on the market I switched back. They dropped the price on Sentinel (which has the same active ingredient for heartworm as Trifexis and Interceptor), but the component for flea control is Lufenuron. Trifexis uses spinosad for flea control and I'm leary of that stuff.

Using Drs Foster and Smith (just to compare prices), a 1 year supply of Sentinel for a 2-10 lb dog is $55. A 6 month supply of Trifexis for a 5-10 lb dog is $90 (so $180 for a year). That is a HUGE difference!

Sentinel has a rebate now, too, so the price is even better.
