I shave my babies entire ear, starting at 3-4 weeks of age. I lighten it up as much as possible....I continue to shave the entire ear, until they are sent to new home at 12 weeks......(I also do their butts so they will not be collecting "dingle berries"!!) I do that to keep the ear light, they tend to go up and down when they teethe, and I dont want new owners dragging that baby to a grooming shop at that young, tender age! The ears will be in great shape until they do get baby to a groomer, where the top 1/3 of the ear will be correctly groomed. |
