I'm sure those more experienced will give you some advice.
Caleb's my first Yorkie and he's only 14 weeks, I wouldn't of used clippers on him, so young (9 wks), as he had a lot to deal with, learning all about us, a new home, all the new noises and daily habits. But clippers are one of the things he will have to learn about. I've been letting him sniff them and hear then on, but not used them on him yet. How did your pup do with them? You are probably braver than me. Did you clip inside and outside the ear? Has it helped at all? Personally if I was going to do clipping, I'd stick to the 1/3 clipped and trim the edges with scissors.
