I'm so sorry for the poor little guy. Mine has allergies but not that bad. Her skin on her back breaks out normally to grains in food or environmental allergies which normally turns into a skin infection. I have been able to keep hers down by giving her an Omega 3 supplement for her skin, making sure to bathe her regularly, I wipe her paws every night before we go to bed so she can't drag pollen into her crate, and I also don't feed her anything with grain in it except an occasional treat but most of those I buy are grain free. I hope the treatment your doing work out great.
