Hi there. My Alfie has pretty bad allergies and from a very young age which is unusual. He too is on RC Analergenic. He gets bathed 3times a week with malaseb shampoo then with epi soothe, both are left on for 10 minutes each. Alfie takes two kinds of antihistamines every day and was on steroids for months but we have now weaned him off those.
We don't know exactly what he is allergic to as his dermatologist won't test him until he is a year old, he is 11 months now.
I think the baths really help him and being really careful that he doesn't get any crumbs or fallen food at all.
Good luck, I know how heartbreaking it is to see them so miserable but Alfie is doing quite well now.
We do have to keep jammies on him when we are out and at night, if he gets a chance to scratch he can really hurt himself.
