Smart little Khloe finding a good place to hide. No doubt saved her life! Don't feel bad about not carrying them - everybody forgets or lets their guard down once in a while, especially when such a short distance is involved. I'm just so sorry you were scared to death and upset by the terror of being so helpless there for a while and sorry that jerk of a neighbor didn't take responsibility for his own dogs' actions. What in the world were wild dogs like that doing out off leash? Yorkies off leash can't hurt a fly but big dogs are a whole other kettle of fish.

This is the world we live in now and all I can say is there are times when all these dog-owners everywhere are beginning to make life a living hell for small-dog owners! And we can't count on anything legislatively being done obviously so always being on guard I guess is the only thing to do and that really sucks too. But doggie parents are like parents of little kids these days and apparently we can't afford to relax ever when out of our house or yard with them. That is our new reality - wild dogs seemingly everywhere out and about to devil our peace. Again, I'm just so very, very glad nothing awful came of this except your shredded nerves. Have a little wine or 1/2 a mild tranquilizer tonight and see if that won't take the edge off so you can relax and rest.
