I feel moved to go to step two for you here....while at the ER vet, explane to them you may have to tube feed these babies.....and you have NO supplies. Ask them if you can get/buy 2 butterfly needles.....you cut the needle part off so all you have that tiny clear tubing that was attached to the needle, with the hub that you can screw the tubing onto a syringe. You will also need for them to let you have 4 leur lock 3cc syringes, as well as 4 leur lock 5cc syringes (we dont know how large these babies will be, and you will need to give them 1cc/oz of body weight per feeding)......dont need needles, just the syringes and the clear tubing, which you will use to tube feed these babies if necessary. These are things you will not be able to get your hands on after you leave the vet office.....hopefully, you will be able to get these babies to nurse, but after a c-section, alot of mommas are not really interested in doing that, for 24-36 hours. You would always rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.....We can go over formulas, etc when we get to that stage....if you leave the er vet with puppies, then DH can go to the pet store and get what you will need next for your formula.
