Firstly, hello and welcome to YT from a fellow UK-er

I am so very sorry about the loss of your husband, how devastating for you - and I hope in time your new little boy will help to mend your heart.

May I ask - do you know anything about his background? Has your daughter given you any information about the why's and wherefore's of having to be re-homed at that age? 24 hours is still a very short time....the little mite's probably very confused and scared.

I understand your fear and frustration, and look forward to getting to know you Sally + Harry x
